un\conference\Summary
What did you miss at the unconference on 12/18/08? Well not only were great conversations and relationships made, but we took another giant leap toward establishing Central Ohio as a community of cooperation and collaboration. The proof is in the results:
¨ Established the CBUS Free Training Initiative, a tagging and syndication system that enables our community to share and to learn about free training opportunities available to Central Ohio residents. More to come as work continues. For now, you can contribute by tagging any free training announcements (live, webinars or self-paced) as “cbustrain” in any major social bookmarking site (such as delicious, twine, digg, technorati)
¨ Kicked off Jelly Columbus coworking:

¨ Raise consciousness among TechLife members of what the Library has to offer. Also, gave some feedback to the Librarians that were present on our needs and usage of the library. CML unveiled Twitter & Facebook presence the next day, though that’s likely a coincidence. ;-)
¨ Social Media Strategies were discussed (now if we can put this someplace permanent and accessible):

¨ Twitter usage was discussed also:

Big thanks to everyone involved – not just in organizing, but in participating and bringing their own experience to the community. And, people stayed to help clean up!
A special thanks to Angela Siefer, Laura Endress, Moriana Garcia and Bob Robertson-Boyd for making this event a success..!
